One day we received an e-mail from Therese Larson. I knew Therese from the years I spent at the University of Texas at Austin. Therese was so kind and helpful to me during my studies. There wasn't a time when she didn't have a ton of work to do, but she always made time for me when I stopped by her office. I was always so thankful for her help and attention. I hadn't spoken with Therese in quite a while so, when I saw an e-mail with Therese's name, I was curious why she might be writing. Well...to our great surprise, she was in need of a photographer. Therese's daughter, Kathryn, was getting married and they were looking for a photographer. Elena and I were, of course, over-joyed that Therese wrote!
Therese and Kathryn came to our home for a consultation and we were no surprised at all to find that Kathryn was just a sweet and kind as her mother. We had such a great time chatting with them and were so excited to be a part of Kathryn's wedding. Kathryn and her fiance, Cody, were getting married at Chapel Dulcinea (one of the coolest places in the Hill Country for a wedding ceremony) with a reception to follow at Trattoria Lisina.
Kathryn and Cody were blessed with a beautiful, sunny day for their wedding. Friends and family gathered for their intimate ceremony. Stephen with I Do Ceremonies did such an awesome job with the ceremony (as always). Family pictures followed and then everyone made their way over to Trattoria Lisina. This is such an awesome restaurant and it was such a cool place for Kathryn and Cody's reception. The food was non-stop and everyone had such a great time. We found a few minutes to go outside with Kathryn and Cody and take some pictures. They are such a nice couple and we really enjoyed spending time with them. And, their pictures were awesome!
Kathryn and Cody, thank you so much for letting us spend such a wonderful afternoon with you. We wish you both many, many years of love and happiness!
