After our engagement shoot with Atanacia and Jacob, Elena and I were very excited about their wedding. They did a great job picking the venue. The Winfield Inn is a fantastic place to have weddings! The bridal party looked great! Jacob looked sharp in his tux. Atanacia was beautiful. To pick our favorite part of the evening was tough, but here's two.
We love watching the couples' reactions when they see each other for the first time on the day of the wedding. When Atanacia walked into the church, the emotion that Jacob displayed was special. Sometimes people might think it isn't tough or manly for guy to be emotional. But, on such a special occasion it was awesome to see that Jacob was really moved by the moment. We have tons of respect for a man that truly appreciates how lucky he is and isn't afraid to show a little emotion. And by the way, we're glad that Jacob's brother was able to find the ring during the ceremony or we might have seen a different kind of emotion. :-)
Our other favorite moment was something that Elena and I had never had the pleasure of witnessing before. A group of Polynesian dancers arrived while dinner was being served and put on a wonderful show for the couple and their guests. We knew there were going to be Polynesians dancers before the wedding, but we were expecting two or three people. This was a group of fifteen or twenty!! And, they were great! At one point Atanacia and Jacob were even dancing with them. It was so cool to see the couple laughing and having fun together.
Atanacia and Jacob, thank you for being so kind and personable. We really enjoyed your engagement shoot, but your wedding even topped that! Thank you for letting us be part of your wedding day. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness, love and lots of Polynesian dancing (ya'll were good at that)!
